Method:
Those application or gamer freaks which run one major application, make changes to XP to allocate high priority to Application.
Step# 1:
Go to START>RUN and type "Regedit.EXE" without quotes and Press ENTER.
Step# 2:
Now follow this:
[HKEY_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\PriorityControl]
Now highlight or select the "PriorityControl"
Step# 3:
Now make a new DWORD value namely "Win32PriorityControl" and change its value to 38 in decimal.
Note:
Make backup of your registry files before making changes. This tweak is only for Windows XP users. All names will be put without quotes. In name, properly watch and take care about Capital shown words.
