The Facebook Zero version will be in a text-only, low bandwidth version, will be easily accessible from the user’s mobile phone internet browser without putting load on the network connectivity. The new Facebook mobile site, ‘zero.facebook.com’, is a lighter version of ‘m.facebook.com’ which is designed to omit data intensive functions such photo viewing and uploading, according to Facebook. If Facebook wants to reach its first billion users as its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, envisions.And Facebook currently has more than 400 million active users which is more than twice the number it registered back in February 2009 (it had 175 million then).
