Recover Your Google Account Password Via SMS

Google recently added a new option for Password Recovery for Google Accounts. This new feature allows you to recover your Google account password through your mobile phone. In order to make use of this feature you need to first get your phone validated by Google. Earlier, the only option available was to setup an alternate email account. In my opinion, this definitely caused significant risk to your google account if the alternate account ever got compromised.

1.) Navigate to the link here.

2.) Click on the recovery option and update your details against the heading SMS. (Receive a text message with a password-reset code on your mobile phone.)

3.) Click on Save and you are done.
